We are the Watson family and we are Gilldora Grove... a farm, a nursery and a regenerative contracting service. Our passion to nurture, grow and help others drives us to constantly strive for better. Better practices, better inputs, which ultimately means a better product or service for you!
Together with our children, on our certified organic farm at Gilldora in the Mary Valley, QLD Australia, we run an advanced tree nursery, a lime orchard, and a regenerative farm & contracting service. We believe in working with nature, and understand that our landscape is part of a complex ecosystem with many moving parts. Our journey started with a dream to own a farm. We then designed and planted an orchard through a conventional lens. After many years of trial and error we have learnt a lot and implemented regenerative, organic and biodynamic farming, slowly moving away from the traditional farming approach. The organic regenerative way is not quick. It’s not easy and it is certainly not for the faint hearted fair weathered friend. It takes grit and determination, hard work and them some, a step forward and perhaps a few back (but hey…that’s farming right?!). We know the best part is yet to come. But we are on this journey, discovering how to grow food organically, and regenerating our farm has become our mission.

The Farm
Our certified organic lime orchard is situated on the highest aspect of the farm, on 3 hectares. Our farm is also home to our nursery and contracting business.
